It is with great sadness that we share the news that Ray Travers, RPF (ret), passed away on July 23, 2021. Ray acted as Content Advisor for our report, Brighter Future for Boundary Forests. Ray helped us to formulate the definition of truly sustainable forestry in our report. He spent decades contributing to forestry reform in BC. He was a consummate professional and an educator who was greatly admired and respected in the forestry community. We were honored that he made one of his last public appearances in our presentation in June 2021 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H4i8NLmjDM). He will be dearly missed.
